Group Sound Healing and Reiki Session

Sound healing helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronizes our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency which the brainwave can attune to. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur).

 

Join us for a Sunday evening group sound healing session at Evolve Skin Studio in Asheville, North Carolina. We will be hosting two local practitioners to bring you a complete sound and reiki experience.

 

Our sound healer will be Billy Zanski. Billy has been immersed in music and expression since 1995. In 2001 he traveled to Guinea, West Africa, to study percussion in depth. In 2004, Billy opened Skinny Beats Sound Shop in downtown Asheville, NC. Since then he has been hosting sound experiences, teaching, and selling instruments. His focus is on the healing qualities in music and community.

 

Our Reiki practitioner will be Rachel Durchslag of Emerge Asheville.
